Twelve fast facts you don’t know about the human body

How well do you know your body?  Some of our doctors have shared the human body facts that fascinate them the most… 
 
1. The brain requires one quarter of the oxygen used by the human body 
 
2. Around 80 per cent of the brain is liquid due to the high blood and water content of the tissue
